Story
You land on the Marathon and successfully complete your first mission. As you stand on the teleporter pad, you notice an unusual delay, but before you have a chance to ponder it, you materialize in a whole new section of ship. But something is wrong. Very wrong. This is not where youre supposed to be

Somewhere between Arrival and Bigger Guns Nearby is Stratum Interlude!

Ammo and Weapons
You start Stratum Interlude with the inventory you finished Arrival with; and you end with the inventory you start Bigger Guns Nearby with.

Pfhor
No new enemies, since you only have your Magnum.

Information
This started as small project and ended up as a major multi-person project. I initially contacted Hamish Sinclair, because he is the man to talk to about the Marathon's story, in hopes that he might help me with the terms. So he wrote several, which you will find in the game.

He also did a small section of the map, which you will have to find, its hidden.

Installation
Run the installer to install the terminals in the game. you will be given a standard file open dialog, so show the installer where to find Marathon. The installer will install the terminals in your copy of Marathon.

Then simply move the map into the same folder as the copy of Marathon that you installed the terminals into.

De-installation
To remove the terminals installed by the installer, run the installer again and click the Remove button. If you didnt mess with the terms manually, removal should be successful.

Note: To be sure, I recommend keeping a clean copy of the Marathon application. I take no responsibility for the installers actions as I, as author, make no guarantees.

A few notes from Hamish Sinclair
When Bach asked me to contribute a section to this map he wrote:

"... I don't want this to be a kill-o-rama level. There's plenty of that
already and besides, it takes no talent to do that. Make a room, put Pfhor
in it with you. Just add water. Instant Carnage. That's probably how they
made DOOM. But this is Marathon. B-) [Bach--Marathon Fundamentalist]"

My response... well it's about two square inches. Just add water.... but
you have to find it first. I left that up to Bach, knowing him he hid it
well ;-)

Enjoy.

Secrets
Yes, there are a lot of secrets on this level, please do look for them. I know you're tempted to use the ol map editor, but please, try to find them the old fashioned way first.

Tools
I used Pfhorte 1.0d25 for this project. It seems to be only map editor to give me all of the features I need. Alas, moving levels is a pain, so I had to use Nyeh Kuultoorrni 1.0a2 to move levels. Its really a wonderful little app that does its job well.
